Websites and working tools for artists and makers
Your practice is more than the finished artwork.
Invite people into the wider story: the workshops you teach, the exhibitions you join, the ideas you explore and the news you want to share.

Give every workshop a clear destination.
Give a workshop its own page with images, dates, venue and the details visitors need. Share its direct link when you announce the class.
With Portfolio+ and completed payment setup, you can offer workshop places for purchase through the website.

Use the Blog for the story behind the work.
Share your process, materials, inspiration or the development of a collection. Each published story has its own page and link without a separate blogging service.

Use News for what is happening now.
Announce an exhibition, open studio, new collection or workshop date. A short update can have its own page without becoming a long article.

Connect exhibitions to the work inside them.
Publish exhibition information and link the relevant artworks through Where to Buy.
Use News to announce the event and the Blog to tell a longer story when there is one to share.
Visitors can move between the exhibition and the work rather than encountering disconnected updates.

Bring current activity to the front.
Feature a workshop, story or announcement in your page sections. Move it higher while it matters, then change the layout later. The original content keeps its own page.

Turn an update into a reason to reconnect
Use supported Blog, News and workshop content in a newsletter, giving readers an introduction and a link back to the full page.
There is no need to publish constantly. These tools are there when your practice has something worth sharing.
To send newsletters through Webarto, you need an active Webarto custom email service. Custom email is a separate paid service and is not included automatically with every website plan. Your sending allowance depends on the service agreed for your account, and consent, unsubscribe and acceptable-use rules apply.
